COLLEGE HALL, NORTH & SOUTH Dorm Reviews at Howard

Living there was such an incredible experience. The dorm itself had this cozy and welcoming vibe that made it feel like a true home away from home. The rooms were spacious, and the common areas were perfect for hanging out and making new friends. Plus, the location was fantastic - close to classes, the library, and all the campus activities. And let's not forget the amazing community spirit! We had so many fun events and bonding moments. It's safe to say that College Hall North made my college life unforgettable!

I am satisfied with the room only thing I wished was better was if the room had more access to light. I also wish that I had more space in my closet and bathroom I just think its too small personally.

I live in College Hall North. The dorms are small to average but nice. Compared to the other dorms I'm very happy I got placed here. Sometimes they have fun activities people can do in the building. The thing I don't like about the dorm is the shower pressure. Depending on how many people are showering on your floor you can have a good to terrible shower.

My experience staying in CHS was awesome! I stayed my freshman year and I would recommend this dorm for first time in college students and upperclassman! It honestly felt like a hotel. The location was great, it was never obnoxiously loud, or dirty! Everyone kept up with the maintenance. 10/10

I love my dorm and dormmates. I new to the environment but it's been great thus far. The dorm is unisex meaning young men and women reside here but we're separated by floors. I feel complete safe here and I recommend it for anyone whose looking for a clean, and safe place to live.

I had a great experience my freshman year staying in college hall north. My dorm had little to no issues and didn't have very many fire alarms go off. There were no issues or major fights at the dorm. There was always someone you could go to for your hair or lashes in the building.

My only complaint with this dorm is that the gym was very small and limited, but there is another gym on campus you can go to. It was very clean and kept because the University hires cleaners that clean daily. In the dorm room, you share one bathroom with your roommate, there is no cooking space, and you both have your own closet. I would recommend living there as a freshman, it was the best freshmen dorm that everyone wanted to live in.

I enjoyed living at college hall south. I enjoyed how spacious, open, and inviting it felt. I do feel that the gym could be more spacious and maybe have some mirrors. Additionally, there could be more room in the showers.

College Hall South was my home away from home, I consider it the best dorm on campus. It had a game room, several lounge areas and a very communal feel. I could always confide in the Resident Assistants for any challenges I faced.

I absolutely loved my stay at College Hall North! It was in the perfect spot on campus and is fairly new. It is also a nice bonus that there are bathrooms in every dorm room! The RAs and staff were amazing!

This is one of the newer dorms (compared to Annex, Cook, Drew). I would say it is one of the best dorms on campus. Some people may not like that there are no kitchens and the fact that the windows in the dorm do not open.

I had a great experience in College Hall South. I stayed in this dorm during my Junior Year. It was always very clean and quiet. However, there are no single rooms in this dorm, so you always have a roommate. There are also no kitchens.

It was a great experience and really felt like home. The buildings are new so they look really nice and they're very clean. There are many amenities and different components that adds to the buildings character. 10/10 recommend.

Overall my experience with the dorm was decent. There were never any bugs or rats found in the dorm and the appliances never went out of order. If anything needed fixing, maintenance would be called and they would fix the problem relatively quickly. If I had to recommend a place to spend dorm living, College Hall North and South would be at the top of my list.

I enjoyed living in both College Hall North and South. The staff was always both helpful and friendly. The facilities were also very well presented. The dormitories were both very memorable parts of my Howard undergrad experience.

I was in College Hall North. I was in a triple. The water, for both the sink and shower, were cold from October till March when campuses shut down for COVID-19. When selecting beds take A or B, not C unless you want to climb a ladder to bed every night.

It is best suited for the type of person that spends most of their time outside of their dorms. Their common areas are great places to relax with others, and they have many rooms for group meetings and study groups. However, inside the building phone reception is poor.
