Brookdale Residence Dorm Reviews at Hunter

I loved dorming. It was the most fun time of my college experience. I got it for free for the first year because of my honors program and I was unable to afford it after that, but I wish I could. Being alone with my friends in the city is something I would never forget.

Brookdale Residence is a barebones dormitory, providing most students with a decent sized single room. There are some suites on the top 2 floors, however they must be requested and cost more. Bathrooms, showers, and kitchens are all communal. The campus also has a modest swimming pool, gym, game room, and computer lab. Brookdale is very affordable for its location by Gramercy in Kips Bay, and they offer both term stays and full-year stays.

It's okay, but can be difficult to commute from at times. I have enjoyed my experience but it can be kind of far from activities in the city and is far from the main Hunter campus. Also it is pretty old.
