Potter Hall Dorm Reviews at HWS

Potter Hall is in the college's JPR (Jackson, Potter, Resse) complex. All of the JPR dorms have a very similar feel as they are all in the same building. The only difference is the colors that the halls are painted. I absolutely LOVED my time at Potter Hall and highly recommend being in the JPR complex. Everyone is connected, and it is so easy to hang out and meet friends living here, which is very important because it is a freshman living space. The walk to the dining hall can suck in the winter, but it was manageable. These dorms are coed, so you live on the same floor as boys and girls, but the bathroom is separate, and they have an all-gender bathroom in each hall. I had the best time - each floor holds a special bond all four years at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and my floormates are some of my closest friends now.

My experience at Potter Hall has been good for the past two semesters. There is a good environment on every floor of the building. Everyone gets along, and there are never dull moments. As a first year student, Potter Hall exceeded my expectations.
