Weston Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Illinois

I thought that it was a great dorm for meeting new people of different backgrounds. The location was good for the most part but at the same time, be mindful that the campus is very big and at some point in time you will have to commute in some kind of way. The staff was great and respectful and the maintenance was also top notch.

I had really crappy roommates. On top of them being absolutely disgusting, the bathroom was already kind of gross. The shower was more of a spout. And the windows in your room DO NOT OPEN??? Don't rec

loved the atmosphere, ton of friendly/social people around, great study spaces especially in the basement with private/group rooms.. would 100% recommend to future students as it's in ike/central location to everything

I like the location and the staff the most. I also enjoy the other residents. The overall experience has been positive but I know that if it were not for Covid it would be even better. Specifically, due to safety protocols, interactions between people and accessibility of the dorm as a whole, has been limited. While I support these measures it has made Freshman year more difficult. The staff at the hall have done their best to help us make connections with others, even though it is difficult. I do appreciate their efforts!

It is okay, not too bad. People are very friendly and it can get loud a lot. The bathrooms are communal though if you don't mind that then this is the place for you. The hallways are pretty clean and get cleaned often same as the restrooms.

It was a very fun and social dorm. I highly recommend it to incoming freshmen who want to live in a public campus dorm. Weston Hall is the closest dorm to Ikenberry Hall which is where meals are provided.
