Walker Hall is a nice place to live. It appeals to some more than others. It is quite a quiet hall, it is currently only housing upper-division students which may be part of the more laid back atmosphere.
The rooms are nice and they have a bathroom conjoining to another suite. It can be a really nice set-up, but you do have to clean the bathrooms and sometimes suite-mates do not contribute to the cleanliness of it.
One main issue that I have with Walker Hall is the constant noise coming from the pipes. They are quite loud and can be very annoying. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is much that can be done about it, it is just something you have to get used to.
The lounges are a nice space, but there are not very many of them. There is not a lounge on each hall, which can be annoying.
Walker Hall is a decent place to live at JBU if you like a more quiet atmosphere. It is located in the center of campus and has easy access to everything. Overall, Walker is a clean dorm that many students at JBU want to live in.
