Ronson Hall Dorm Reviews at Jefferson

I like the fact they keep the same majors (for the most part) together in the dorms in the same wing of the building. However, they were suppose to have the males and females separated but they had more women than men so the woman ended up on the men side as well which was not told to us before we moved in. My parents did not like the fact they were not told about this. The lounge is noisey and not always kept very clean. The noise level in the dorm is not very helpful with studying.

Ronson Hall is decent housing at Thomas Jefferson University. My dorm is a decent size for me and my roommate. It is easy to get to my dorm and the staff is amazing. The RAs are always around to help students and I feel safe at Ronson Hall.

I don’t mind it, ronson hall has a bad reputation apparently to former students but as a current resident i can say freely that isn’t bad. Raven hill cafeteria is right next to us and we get to have amazing dinners there as well.

It was a pretty clean building, has an elevator which is helpful for doing laundry. The rooms are decently sized and each have a AC/heating unit perfect for hot or cold days. Very friendly atmosphere and easy to meet new people.

I lived in Ronson during COVID restrictions so my experience might be a little off, but it's in a quiet area and is conveniently located near the cafeteria.The lounges and common areas are pretty good.

Communal bathroom, rooms are 2, 3 or 4 people, standard bed, chest of drawers, desk and wardrobe included. It does have A/C and heating. Tile floor in dorm room. People are mostly quiet. There is a lounge with a kitchenette at the end of each hall with a TV, spaces to work, different chairs and workspaces for group work, etc. Just a 5 minute walk from the dining hall with lots of pretty trees around.

Its one of the best dorms socially for freshaman, however cleanliness wise it is pretty bad. It isn't far from the bus or dinning hall but not the closest either. More so, its a good place if all your friends live there too.
