I love how quiet and homey it is in McCoy. We all have an understanding that we are all students and need our study time and sleep. We are all very respectful our public spaces, and there is rarely any problems with our residents. Definitely the best dorm on campus, as well as being the cheapest!

Everything looks great and clean. The dorms have kitchens, but we weren't allowed to use them during my time. the only thing was that they didn't fix our bathroom when it broke(water coming from the ceiling). We had to manage for a while. Apart from that, some of my peers' bathrooms were clean, spotless. The lounge areas are calm during the afternoons.

It's really dependent on who else lives on your floor, and when the RA is accessible. For the most part, my floor was relatively quiet with noise mostly happening in the afternoon rather than very late at night. The small "gym" areas are nice to have since the walk to the rec center can be fairly long.

This is one of the older new dorms on campus and it is somewhat neglected when compared to other sophomore housing. While it's just as close as Wolman, the layout of the building leaves all of the dorms on the same side, so almost every room gets an average amount of light in the mornings.

It was a fun dorm to be in for sure. It was further from campus than most freshman dorms, but the campus is small in general. It was all nice that we were right next to the city so getting to know the area was really east. Every dorm has its issues but overall it was a good experience. I was most concerned with some of my suitematesβ desire to clean if anything. I had to do most of the cleaning as no one else took the initiative unfortunately. I was lucky to meet some others in the building who much more fit my personality and of course were willing to clean. Thatβs another thing. McCoy Hall ended up being home to some of my closest friends on campus.
