Korb Hall Dorm Reviews at Kent State

Being a member of the LGBTQ LLC in Korb was terrifying during the election. While not required by the hall itself, many people in Korb found it best to evacuate after there were threats to shoot up the hall upon Biden's victory. While it feels safer to be around other queer folks, being so visible is extremely dangerous. Nothing came of the threats, but we were still very afraid for a couple of weeks. Otherwise, the hall was fine. Nothing to note besides a few bad eggs, but that isn't the fault of Korb staff.

My first year of college I was staying in Korb Hall. The rooms were nice and spacious compared to other dorms I have seen, even the bathrooms were nice since they were all singles. My floor was quite, but I did meet people that are now my friends even the staff were welcoming. The common areas can be renovated but the rooms make up for it. I'm a third year at Kent State and do not live on campus but if I had to go back I would stay at Korb.
