Manchester Hall Dorm Reviews at Kent State

My experience at Manchester Hall was a great one! I lived on a co-ed floor and loved the socialization aspect. I always felt safe with the key card requirements to all entrances and enjoyed the residential staff!

Manchester Hall was a great experience for my freshman year. I personally a had roommate troubles since I roomed with my best friend from high school but the overall community of the hall was amazing. I made so many friends on my floor and was always hanging with them. I am now a senior in college and many of those friends from that hall are still some of my best friends. the RA was also great and always had activities planed for us. there was plenty of bathroom space and vary rarely did I have to wait for a shower to open up. it was also convenient because it was connected to three other buildings and it had the dining center on the first floor so I did not have to leave the building during the winter to get food. I recommend this building to any incoming freshman because its located in a great place and there are so many opportunities for social connection.

I enjoyed my time staying in Manchester Hall, even though it was during the pandemic. It's a great first dorm, an all freshman dorm, pretty small overall but not so small that I felt claustrophobic. One of the best things about Manchester Hall is it's proximity to the Eastway Dining Hall--it's connected, so you don't even have to step outside to get food!
