It's been nice. I like that it's one of the less loud buildings in campus. I like quiet and it's very peaceful. However, I really don't like how there are little to no common areas, as well as the fact that if I want to refill my water bottle I have to go down to the first floor because they don't have any fountains on the second one. Other than that I think it's a great building to live in since the location is also pretty good and I will be reapplying next year.

I lived in Deerpath for 3/4 years and I really enjoyed it. It was a great community that I felt connected to. I lived in a double my sophomore year and a five person suite my last two. Our suite was very nice - a huge bathroom, a nice living room, and three big bedrooms. The door to get up to the rooms was broken and could be opened if you jerked it really hard, which muscular guys did really often. The lounges were fine, not spectacular, but I did spend a lot of my senior year sitting at the second floor tables studying. I love the lobby, especially when the art gallery is open and you can walk through it after dinner or whenever you're around, even at night. The laundry room/basement was probably the worst part. It was so dank and muggy and flooded whenever it rained really hard. I remember it flooded REALLY badly one night my senior year and they had to get giant industrial fans to clean it up. I think they probably just need to tear up the carpet downstairs and replace it with something that won't inspire mold to grow. The laundry room always smelled wet (not in a good way, if there is a good way) and the payment system, while more convenient than quarters, was never accurate in telling you when your wash was done or if there were any machines open. Since LFC is such a small and close community, I usually knew the people who were being loud in the hallway (I lived down the hall from and beneath a frat) so I could just text them and ask them to keep it down. I didn't ever really have issues with noise. I liked having the parking lot right there. Plus if you don't live on north campus, you don't really go up there, so there were usually spots. Deerpath also has a really nice grassy area right in front. I really enjoyed my time there and though I do not miss living in dorms, I miss the community feel they had.
