Plantz Hall Dorm Reviews at Lawrence

I moved to Plantz during second term, and my experience has been great! It is close to the con, which is great if you are a con student, close to Warch, and has a parking lot in back. The rooms are spacious and all rooms have large windows. Some rooms are a bit louder depending on if you are on the side where college ave is or near a stairwell.

I really liked staying in Plantz Hall because it was less than a 3 minute walk to the conservatory of music, where most of my classes took place. I didn't like the location of my room though, because it was just at the beginning of the hall, which meant that the wifi didn't reach there. This was problematic since in my room I didn't have wifi, which meant that I had to pay more in roaming than I usually do, and which meant that I couldn't do homework in my room. I tried to get it fixed, but they basically ignored me. Additionally, if you are not a musical person, I wouldn't really recommend Plantz, since most of its residents are music students and are constantly practicing.
