Campion Hall Dorm Reviews at Loyola

It is appalling. There are rats and cockroaches. My dorm literally made it on the news in Chicago because of how bad the management is. We are right a across a train station so it is very loud. Not to mention there was an armed robbery right next to campion.

Campion is what I would consider the typical dorm experience. It's really easy to meet people on your floor and be friendly with your neighbors. The only thing I'm not satisfied with compared to other dorm halls is that Campion is lacking in terms of kitchen quality.

I’ve had a great experience at Campion since my arrival. I love my dorm, everyone is very friendly, the halls, bathrooms are very clean and the staff is always available to assist us with questions or concerns

I lived on the second floor. It was a very spiritual time for me. I survived solely on cockroaches and elevator rats. I met St. Ignatius, himself, and was told where the lost Treasure of Loyola lands.

It is a very lovely dorm. I live in the basement and the rooms are pretty good sized. It is two people to one room, but my room has a good amount of space regardless. The Dorm has a nice big common room on the basement and mid floors, the top floor does not have a common area though which is unfortunate.

It was very run down and didn’t have the greatest maintenance, but I did really enjoy my time there. We all kind of bonded about how terrible it was compared to the nicer dorms on campus. It was livable, and that’s about it!

Campion definitely needs to be redone, the community is friendly and the noise is minimal, but the rooms and bathrooms are really run down. The dorm is right across from the L stop which makes for easy access to the city.

It may be due to the fact that I had a rough first semester at Loyola as I didn't know anyone or anything about the school - but I didn't exactly love staying at Campion to be frank. The bathrooms on our floor were always flooded and crowded - with little too maintenance and our AC units would often stop working. However, the front desk ladies were always nice (even at night) and my peers I spent time with there compensated for everything.
