I enjoy having an apartment with my own kitchen and room. It is relatively big, it is not small yet not huge either. Ultimately it could look a bit nicer but overall it is not bad! I live with four other girls and we have two bathrooms.

Living in the UV's was the best decision I made regarding housing. It was still on campus but situated away from the activity of campus which suited me well. It was also clean, nice to have a kitchen, and issues were resolved really quickly and easily by submitting a case.

It is a great location directly across the road from the wellness center and the athletics facilities. However, it is a bit pricey for students even with roommates. This is especially true since the lakeside village opened up and offered even more housing options however rates stayed the same. But other than that it is great housing for University of Miami students.

The University Village is nice for convenience because it is right near campus so you can bike to class, walk, or there's a shuttle. However, the facilities are old and break easily and there are some issues with mold. But, if you put in a maintenance request then they will come fix it, though they are not very efficient. It is also pretty expensive, but you are paying for convenience.
