Ruby Hall Dorm Reviews at MSU

Ruby Hall is located in the North zone of the MSU campus. Its location is convenient and not distant from academic or administrative buildings. The dorm is also located across from a food POD housed in another dorm hall. There are a lot of spaces and availability for parking located in front and behind the dorm.

Very clean and well put together. Good size room for two people. Not too small but also not too big. It was jstt right. The bathroom was very clean and didn't have any problems out of it. Came in with no problems and left with no problems.

To start off, to come to Mississippi State University as an out of state student is difficult makes life difficult. Ruby hall is in a great location. It is in the north part of campus which is very close to pretty much every other building on campus.

My experience at Ruby Hall has been great. I live in a single room and love having the space to myself. The only thing I would change is that there are not as many study rooms available in Ruby Hall. The courtyard area is a great relaxing place to go when you need a break or just fresh air. The doors are very nosey, so be prepared to hear a few loud slamming doors on your hall. Overall, my stay at Ruby is a 8/10.

An overall great place to live the rooms are an excellent size. With lots of space for additional furniture like couches or chairs and you would still have plenty of room for storage. But it is also great especially for the location in relation to important buildings on campus.

This hall is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect: it is right beside Old Main Academic Center and not a far walk from the Union. The staff is always willing to help and great advocates for the university. This hall is very modern and has nice amenities.

I lived her as a freshman and I absolutely loved it! Ruby had tutors available in the computer lab last year (not this year due to covid though). The double deluxe rooms are the biggest college dorm rooms I've ever seen. I used to work as an informational assistant at Ruby and now as a sophmore, I work as a resident advisor. Living in Ruby has allowed me to not only make amazing friendships but also on-campus jobs. The staff here are all amazing and would love to welcome you to our bulldawg campus! Hail State!
