I would say Holden Hall is one of the best halls to live in when it comes to safety, cleanliness, and quietness. The bathrooms could be better, I know Wilson hall has better updated bathrooms but Holdens furniture is more up to date. Holdens common area has a pool table and gaming area as well.

I was only there for 1 semester but I LOVED it! It’s not super close to class buildings/Grand River, but it’s by a BEAUTIFUL part of campus! While it is farther away than some dorms, it’s not very far when you ride the bus, or even walk.

I stayed at Holden Hall for 2 years and I loved it. Not only were the desk staff and facilities accommodating, the Holden cafe was the best. I met some of my, now, lifetime friends in the tv/game room. Holden is where it's at!

I thoroughly enjoyed my fall semester living experience in Holden Hall at Michigan State University. I was slightly concerned to be living on-campus during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the MSU housing staff made me feel safe with the restrictions and regulations they put in place. I have had all positive experiences with the maintenance staff within the hall. They are all friendly and are not shy to say "Hello" when we pass one another in the hallway. I plan on returning to Holden Hall for the spring semester and look forward to doing so.

My experience at Holden Hall was my favorite part of being on campus, staying at Holden Hall was the perfect balance between peace and quiet, and party time. It was everything I needed out of a dorm, with very nice people who lived next to me, many resources nearby, and an environment that felt truly comfortable.

Holden Hall is a quiet dorm located out of the way. This is not the most social hall and does not offer any amenities that draws non-residents in outside of the few classrooms located there. I had a good experience because I met a few friends there, but if I were an incoming freshman I'd prefer an area like Brody which is much more social.
