McDonel Hall Dorm Reviews at MSU

One of the most significant aspects of McDonel Hall was engaging events, creating opportunities to forge lasting friendships. McDonel Hall, with its blend of history and modernity, provided the foundation for a memorable and enriching college experience.

I enjoy living in Mcdonel hall and find that it is easy to walk to most of my classes on campus and it is right across from IM East which is convenient for working out. I think that the maintenance is fair, but could be better.

It is a really nice hall but because of COVID-19, there are no RAs available and it gets noisy. There isn't a person to check on others in the hall or take disciplinary actions to those who request complaints. I do have my own room and bathroom but the restrictions don't allow guests over.

Mcdonel Hall was a solid living experience for me. The high water pressure in the showers made the showers feel a little uncomfortable, but besides that, if you set up the room well and keep everything clean, you'll be fine.
