Cummings Hall Dorm Reviews at MTSU

Nice dorm for a first year student to adjust to college life. However, room space is a little small and hard to adjust all your needed belongings. Most of all the dorm is in the central location of the campus and allow for easy accessibility to other areas of campus

I stayed in Cummings Hall over the summer for Governor's school. The only problem I encountered was roaches when trash or food was left out. However, the staff was very friendly, and I felt mostly safe.

The building is at the edge of campus. It is an older building with bathrooms in the halls. The dorm rooms are shared by 2 people living in the same space. It is very safe and the maintenance crew kept the place clean.

I enjoyed Cummings Hall building, but I had a terrible roommate who did not respect my boundaries and belongings. I would be kept up at night, and she would go through my things. My RA did not do much about it, and I ended up moving out a couple of weeks later. My RA was nice, along with the staff, but living with someone you don't know is unrealistic. I think colleges should do a better job of ensuring privacy and personal space.
