JH Richmond Hall Dorm Reviews at Murray State

It is a nice environment and I love how the RA’s do events. My favorite thing about Richmond is the huge parking lot we have access to. It is also very nice that they updated the rooms and we are close to the dining hall.

Richmond is definitely one of the nicer dorms at Murray. It is further away than most of the other dorms so there is a little extra walking. The parking situation sometimes is frustrating and students have to park further away.

My experience in this dorm has been great. I have a private bathroom that I share with my roommate so it Is very clean. The laundry room is the only down side because the dryers don’t work well. But it is not hard to be able to find open washers and dryers. The rooms are spacious. Overall it is a great place to live temporarily!

JH Richmond was a very nice and advanced college. The dorms were very spacious and provided a great atmosphere for students to study and live. I was lucky enough to have a suite with three other friends and the area was very nice. We each had our own rooms and a common area to be with each other, there was plenty of privacy.

I have lived at JH Richmond Hall for 2 years now, and I love it. I have previously lived in the Hester Dorms and I have to say that I enjoy Richmond far better. I live in a suite style dorm, which consists of four rooms and a living area. The rooms are relatively small, about the size of a walk in maintenace closet, but the living room makes up for it in space. overall, its a very nice experience. I will be staying there for my remaining time in college.

JH Richmond is my first college dorm and an amazing first hall for my college experience and they are doing the best they can during the pandemic. Their safety in both security and sanitization is absolutely astonishing and so simple but effective.
