Wilson Hall Dorm Reviews at NAU

I had a pretty good experience, its an older dorm but you cant expect to much out of a dorm room. It was pretty big and spacious but it had a tiny window which sucked. The bathroom also flooded the hallway and it smelled and was gross water just sitting in the hallway for days until something was done. I felt safe, and students are being students so besides them being students I felt safe and really liked the location because its in the middle of campus which is great.

My experience at Wilson was great! Aside from the bathroom only have 2 working toilets majority of the school year, the staff is great. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help in anyway they can. People in Wilson are respectful, and abide by rules in place. It is easy to get in some study time, because it is always quiet. Overall Wilson is a great hall, and it was a great dorm for my first year of college.

As a freshman college student, moving into a dormitory was both exciting and nerve-wracking. It marked the start of my journey towards independence and adulthood, but also meant leaving the comfort and familiarity of home. Upon arrival, I was met with a flurry of activity as fellow students and their families bustled about, unpacking and settling in. Despite the chaos, there was a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. This was a new beginning for all of us, a chance to start fresh and forge new connections. As I made my way up to my room, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety. What would my roommate be like? Would we get along? Would I be able to handle the workload of college? Thankfully, my roommate and I hit it off from the start. We shared similar interests and schedules, and quickly became close friends. Together, we navigated the challenges of college life, from studying for exams to making new friends. Living in a dorm also provided me with opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. I remember attending dorm-wide events and social gatherings, where I met people from all over the country and the world. It was fascinating to hear their stories and learn about their unique experiences and perspectives. Of course, living in a dorm also had its challenges. The close quarters and shared living spaces meant that conflicts and disagreements could arise. I remember a few instances where my roommate and I had disagreements, but we were always able to work through them and come to a resolution. Overall, the dormitory experience was a pivotal one for me. It taught me valuable lessons about independence, responsibility, and community. I learned how to navigate the complexities of college life, and made lasting friendships along the way. While it wasn't always easy, I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything.

My experience In Wilson Hall was amazing. The people in Wilson were very friendly and welcoming very much made it feel like home. The staff was amazing there was never a moment where I felt I couldn't ask for information or help if I needed it.

Wilson Hall was probably one of the better choices for you first year at NAU. I loved the location. I met some of my bestest of friends there. I am sad to leave Wilson Hall but excited for another hall.

Wilson Hall was relatively one of the better dorms. The location was essentially central campus, near two bus stops, and within short walking distance of Target. I'd say it was cleaner than some of the other halls I'd visited or lived in. In the year I lived there, we only had the fire alarm go off once. A miracle in college campus life.

I am currently a freshman at Wilson Hall, and so far I've had a good experience at Wilson. Everyone here is very friendly, and it is a quiet place. Not to mention, Wilson is not a far walk from the grocery store and the dining hall on campus. All in all, Wilson hall is an amazing dorm to live at, with a perfect location and a spacious room.

I loved living in Wilson Hall. It is right in the middle of campus so wherever you needed to go for classes or dining, you were in close proximity. There also is a bus stop right outside which was nice. I loved Wilson

I really loved living in Wilson. It on central campus, easy to get to class on south campus. They have a shuttle stop at Wilson, so that great and amazing, especially during winter. Bathrooms and hallways are cleaned daily.

I was not there for a very long time but I enjoyed my stay. My best friend and I decided we were going to room in the same building so we would be comfortable but chose to not room together so we could branch out and make new friends. I loved my roommate and I liked my room and I had a lot of fun. Everyone on my floor was incredibly nice and I wouldn't say I had any complaints.

My experience in Wilson Hall is very comforting because I feel so safe in the environment because everyone is very kind, supportive and very helpful. Every where you go if you need help with anything and someone is near they're more than happy to help.

Wilson Hall was the best freshman dorm. I met my very best friends there who were both guys and girls. The smaller bathroom at the end of the hall made it feel like I nearly had my own bathroom. There are also lots of drinking fountains to fill up your water bottles. I would recommend this hall to any freshman!

I love living in this dorm that is located very centrally on campus. I can walk to classes and dining options. It has been a fun experience living with people going into the same major as me and getting to meet a whole new group of friends.

I love Wilson Hall. I love being able to walk outside and seeing Volleyball, Basketball, etc. I just think being in a pandemic it should be cleaned more than once a day in the mornings. The staffing is super friendly and helpful.

Wilson Hall was just what you expect from a college dorm, nothing fancy but good enough to live in. Easy to navigate, make sure you make friends to have the best time at Wilson! Only bad side are the bathrooms, people are weird.

My experience with Wilson Hall was indifferent, it was a nice place to dorm because of location but often time it would get noice and the RA on call weren't reliable when I would need them. However my RA was always there whenever I needed somebody to talk to. I wasn't on the first floor so I would say I felt pretty safe. The maintenance was amazing and always super sweet to the residents.
