When I stayed at the Annie Day Shepard Residence Hall I actually had a lot more fun then I thought I would. This was when I first was comming into NCCU because all of the incomming freshman had to stay on campus for a little bit. I stayed with my bestfriend where every night we would stay up and talk about our day. On the weekend we would stay up and play games together, so in a way I was just living with my bestfriend. Cleaning up after ourselves was not so bad either because we are naturally clean people so I did not worry about anyone leave dirty clothes on the floor or anything. In the end I had a lot of fun and I hope other people have the same expirence that I did.

I believe that Annie Day Shepard Hall is very nice. You must have your student identification to enter the building and your room. I feel incredibly safe here, and wouldn't change it for the world. However, the maintenance is very lacking. There are 4 washing machines and 3 dryers on the first floor. Only 2 washing machines work (all dryers work). Yesterday (August 20) my roomate went to wash her clothes and discovered that one of the two working washing machines flooded the entire laundry room. We have called maintenance and they have yet to assess the issue. Other than the maintenance, I believe that the building in general is wonderful to stay in.
