Lawson Street Suites Dorm Reviews at NCCU

This is my first year at NCCU. The campus is really nice and has a diverse abundance of students and staff. I enjoy living in the Lawson Suite's, it spacious and clean. There is always a dorm director around and someone to assist if necessary. They've recently had renovations, with new carpeting, fresh paint and upgraded dorm bathrooms. The color of the walls brightens the areas. There are 6 floors and all have a unique tone to the interior. It feels like you are living in your very own apartment. Home away from home.

Lawson is one of the newest residence buildings on campus. Everyone likes being there because it's like the meet up spot! The suite style is nice too! The only thing I would change at Lawson is the bottom doors being locked and only opened to staff members. We have to walk around all the way to the other side in order to get in. Overall, I liked Lawson.

The Lawson street dorms are actually very nice. They are suit style dorms with nice spacing being that they are shared dorms. I was told that Lawson was one of the best dorms and I can totally agree. The halls are kept very clean as well as the rooms and bathrooms. I would definitely recommend Lawson to a friend because I know they would be just as satisfied as I was with the cleanliness and well keeping of the suites. The only complaint I would have is that the walls are so thin and you can hear almost everything but other than that I don’t think I have any complaints.
