319 Huntington Ave Dorm Reviews at NU

Overpriced to live in a small apartment without a living room. Cramped, no windows in common spaces so it is quite dark and dingy. The kitchens do not have great ventilation either so the smoke alarm goes off quite often in the building. We also had a couple instances with mice, but that's Boston.

The location of 319 Huntington isn't very quiet because Huntington Ave can have a lot of traffic, and the building is right next to where the subway comes aboveground. The building is fairly clean, and since the rooms are suites, it is up to the student to clean their own living spaces. I put one star for "common areas" because 319 Huntington doesn't have any of those. The location is convenient because it's right across the street from a lot of the lecture halls, there are a lot of convenience stores for quick errands, and it is down the street from a subway stop on the green line. The area is fairly safe since it's located on campus, but Huntington Avenue does tend to have those creepy guys hanging around during the later hours.
