Overall, Bouton is great! Going into my freshman year of college, I was most nervous to dorm. The staff of New Paltz placed me with my current roommate who is my new best friend. Bouton is the perfect dorm for location. It is really close to the academic buildings and student union. I can't imagine myself in another dorm just off of the location alone. Bouton has a great team of RA's that have many activities to get involved and the residents of Bouton are night owls. The bathrooms are alright, nothing special. A lot of room within the dorms themselves. Clean, I have no complaints! Sure it doesn't have an elevator like Ridgeview, but with an older building, it'll easily become your home.
