Chamisa Village Dorm Reviews at NMSU

It’s been really nice so far. Everything is really clean. I can tell they are doing construction to the study room areas which kinda sucks because those would be nice to use. The dryers have been broken too so my clothes weren’t dry. Otherwise pretty nice.

Chamisa is very quite and well located, however, the staff is a little slow when it comes to work orders. The area is also very safe and a study room in included in each apartment block. The laundry facilities are also well maintained.

It was a great experience, with no complaints about the dorms nor the staff running the dorms. Furthermore, it was a very quiet and clean environment located in a great location where it is a very safe enviroment.

Chamisa is like an Ohana, I call my roommates my family because it is very friendly over here. I would give Chamisa a five star for being the most outrageous/ cool dorm there is. The aloha spirit in my opinion are in these dorms. Aloha!!!

They entire time I've lived in Chamisa, I've only had one major problem. My roof had a leak. The maintenance people took a few days to come, however once they did they fixed the problem quickly. Other than that, living in Chamisa has been an overall good experience.

I like living in Chamisa Village because it is right on campus and everything is in walking distance. The room and living area comes furniture which makes it easy for international students who might go back to their home country after they graduate from college.
