Franken Hall Dorm Reviews at Northwest

I have been living in Franken Hall for almost a full semester and I have no complaints, the staff is amazing and everyone is treated nicely, the rooms are good because its a small but not to small room and cozy.

Franken Hall was a great first-year experience for me. Even with it being cut short due to covid it was nice having that community around. I think every student should spend at least one year on campus to get a feel of the community there.

Franken Hall is a nice dorm with updated furniture and great study areas with many whiteboards and tables to work at. The staff is very friendly and inviting, making it better to feel at home. It was cleaned very often and is in a great location to make an exceptional walk to any building on campus!

It has been good overall. It sometimes is a little loud and the bathrooms can get a little gross. It is not in a great location. The only good thing about its location is that it is by the library, otherwise it is not by many buildings.

I was in Franken for 3 years. It wasn't a horrible experience just an older building that was showing its age. I hear that it was recently renovated so it is probably a lot better then I was there. Bathroom was communal, but I have seen way worse in college dorms.

I am enjoying Franklin Hall. I do wish it were more modern like the newer dorms and closer to my main classes. It’s got a nice commons area that we use a lot for games and get together. We also cook in the commons area.

I stayed on the 5th floor of Franken Hall for the fall 2020 semester. I first loved it because it was so close to the library and I could easily go there to study. It was a bit of a walk to the dinning hall but I didn’t mind most days. The staff was always super nice and easy to talk to.

Franken is really clean. The staff is super nice and they have socials where you get get to know people. I recently attended one and met some really good friends there. Also, if you come up with an idea you can talk to your RA about it and they can probably make it happen.
