Vandenberg Hall holds one of the two dining halls. I find this to be a major convenience. Vandenberg offers private suites shared by 4 people which has been a great experience thus far. It is easy to make friends here at Oakland University. The student staff in my building are always very helpful. The cafeteria offers a wide variety of food including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The staff in the cafeteria are always very nice and understanding. The RA on the floor is also very helpful with any issues that may occur between roommates.

It has been a pretty good experience so far this Fall semester. All four of my classes are online, which is nice since I don't have to go outside to another building for an hour or two. I just have to start managing my time better when it comes to my assignments and projects. Everyone has to wear a mask while inside any building or around other people. There can only be two people on an elevator at a time. We have social distancing circles or lines at different locations: the cafeteria, service desks, the bookstore, Tilly's {a convenience store} and the Oakland Center. People have been mostly following the social distancing rule. All of the organizations, clubs, and tutor nights are fully online this year, which feels really different.
