I was placed here in my first semester at ODU and I actually really love the dorm. Its clean and spaceous. The people in the building are nice and the RA is cool. Although its a bit further from the dining hall, its right next to a 711 for a late night snack and the "beach" area which is nice and has volleyball. I have had no issues with it at all.

The village apartments are conveniently located on Monarch Way and across the street from the education building. I like the apartment-style setup. Rooms A and D are bigger than rooms C and D. The buildings are up to date.

The walkways of the apartment area were pretty difficult to get around, especially with all of the construction going around. When it would rain, you had to be extra cautious of walking around the uneven terrain so you would not slip or fall. Other than the constant construction that was going on, it was fairly quiet and peaceful around the apartments. The staff was respectful and kind, making me feel less nervous around the area. The inside of the apartment was clean other than some certain corners, but they were some hard-to-reach places so it was understandable. However, there was a large amount of spiderwebs in many parts of the apartment, making me feel a bit uneasy about my fear of spiders. The whole time living there was 3/5.

My experience living there for the most part was great. I liked that we had two in a half bathrooms in there. And a full kitchen. It was like an apartment. I also liked that there was a living room in the apartment.

I lived there a while ago, so it's probably changed a lot. I remember having roommates who liked to party a lot so that wasn't that great. The apartments themselves were good though. I think the important thing is to try and set boundaries with roommates from the get-go. I choose to suffer through it, but I wonder if I asked if I could have moved to a different place.

Although the building is old, it is still nice and very calm. It is not too far from the classes and there is an available transit system. It is located close to whitehurst beach which is available for anyone.

Powhatan Apartments are not a bad place to live on campus. My favorite thing is that I have a living room and kitchen where I live. The downside is that rooms are still shared which is odd for upperclassman housing.

Although there were many maintenance issues with Powhatan Apartments, it is a nice place to live in for upperclassman. I personally like the apartment style because it gives me the chance to cook and eat my own food rather than going into the dining hall. It's overall, a comfortable place to live in.

Not a bad place to live. You just have to keep it clean. The surroundings are pretty quiet. You canβt really hear the people in the surrounding apartments. The apartments staff is great and really nice.
