Jobe Hansen Dorm Reviews at Oglethorpe

I really enjoyed my experience in Jobe Hansen. The semester I stayed in Jobe may be difficult to analyze because of the pandemic. The kitchen that was previously available was not available due to our health restrictions on campus. This is one of the most expensive dorms on campus, and it can be quiet underwhelming for its price, compared to other campuses at similar prices. The rooms were decent sizes and the bathrooms were fairly updated as well. I would recommend only because the other dorms on campus are terribly bad.

I've had pretty good experiences in this dorm for the two years I lived there, and I will be living there for one more semester! The rooms are decent sizes and all of the resources available in the common areas and in the suites are enough. I do wish the suites had small kitchenettes and not just a sink, but the one community kitchen is fine. I also would suggest perhaps a public bathroom for people hanging in the common area for dorm events and also guests visiting/helping people move in. Besides that everything is great and its good building with cozy rooms and very decent furniture.

I’ve loved living in this dorm, it will be my third year next year. The amenities are great in the rooms, the space is for the most part enough. it’s a little annoying that there’s only one full kitchen for the whole building but at least there is one! i also don’t think the dorms are cleaned too too well when they’re supposed to be, but it’s decent. i do wish that there were more public bathrooms available in the buildings in case visitors need them or you’re locked from your room.

Very open and spacious enough, Have a private bedroom which is good. Would prefer it over most. It's listed for people who have a lifestyle of goth which I dont mind but I think everyone is respects that.
