Stinchcomb Hall Dorm Reviews at OSU

I stayed here as a freshman and as far as dorms go it is pretty nice, you get your own room, a living area, kitchen area, and personal bathroom with a shower so you don't have to leave your unit. The beds are full sized so no twins and furniture is provided!

Everyone in Stinchcomb was very friendly & welcoming. The dorms were relatively clean & well maintained. However, the laundry facilities were not as kept up as I would have preferred & it took 2 weeks to get my shower fixed.

It was good made lots of friends and memories. We had fun partying and late night studying. Had lots of friends come over and just chill. I really recommend this place for any upcoming freshman in college

I think this is a great first dorm for incoming students! It’s in a good location, close to dining hall, and has good natural lighting. I did have to buy earplugs though, for a good nights sleep. The walls are thin enough to where you will hear every footstep from the floor above you.

It was a satisfying year in Stinchcomb Hall and I never faced any major issues and for the most part always felt like I was in a clean and safe environment. There were a few problems with maintenance. For example, if they were called to come fix something in a room it would either take 2 or more weeks for them to come or they just would not come at all. Other than that, the stay at Stinchcomb was great.
