Hawley Hall Dorm Reviews at OSU

I had a great time in Hawley hall, however, the main issue I had is that the heater never fully shut off and resulted in the room being 80 degrees or above for most of the spring term. Ultimately, that wasn't much of an issue though.

I loved the location because it was really close to all my classes. It was an engineering hall and I am an engineer so it was really easy to meet up with my classmates and study. However, the common areas tended to smell bad because that's where we put the ECO to-go boxes

Extremely calm dorm, great if you're a quiet studier. Engineering dorm, definitely would recommend if you are going into a field of engineering. Location is decent and people there are extremely nice.

As a first year engineering student at Hawley Hall, I’ve had a great experience with staff and other students. The engineering community is very inclusive, with RA’s offering a lot of support and resources to make the transition into the dorm easier. Everything is very clean and even though COVID-19 has added some limitations on what you can and can’t do, they are all within reason and easy to follow.
