Houston House Dorm Reviews at Ohio State

Always something going on, this dorm is relatively clean, located in the area of campus closer to classrooms, and was a great place to spend time outside of class, both hanging out and studying. I actually had empty space in my suite, which was very different from my previous year of housing (in Drackett), so a very welcome situation.

I lived in Houston House for 2 years and I loved it. It is a nice new dorm. I personally love the style of bathrooms being in the middle of the hallway with an open view to the sinks because you can always see when they are empty and I actually made a lot of friends being there at the same time as them.

It’s a nice and friendly environment. You can get along with everyone in the dorms. Also it’s at a great location, surrounded by great food places so you wouldn’t have to walk as far. It’s one of the newer dorms so it’s nice to be apart of!!

Houston House is one of the newer and nicer dorms on campus. It can be a little noisy due to the main road being under my window, but it is extremely close to High St and to the main campus. I highly recommend if given the option.

As a first year student at The Ohio State University, I absolutely LOVE my dorm. I have made so many friends even with the pandemic and almost everyone in my dorm is a STEM major like me. Due to the STEM EE Scholars program that OSU offers, Houston is one of the dorms we get put into and I love all of the people there.

Houston House has an awesome community of student athletes. It's great to live with other students with simular interests. We are becoming a fammily. Everyone looks out and supports one another. We are navigating through Corona Virus safety protacols.
