Cayuga Hall Dorm Reviews at Oswego

Cayuga is definitely an in between of partying and quietness. Almost like a blend of Oneida and Seneca, Seneca being the party building, and Oneida the quiet one. Theres a large population of students who are their primarily to study, and then a smaller population who like to socialize. However, I will say it has one of the best building layouts. Also within a decent walk to class buildings.

Cayuga Hall is on the west side of the campus so more of the newer buildings and amenities they come with are not there. Was really starting to like it but my floor mates leave their actual garbage in the bathrooms . Someone threw up in front of my door and left it there for me to see when I woke up. Its not a bad place but I am trying to leave the west campus .

I enjoyed the building itself but I wasn't a huge fan of my dorm. I went to other dorms that my friends were in and there's were nicer than ours. They had nicer floors and it was more spacious. The bathrooms were nice, I really enjoyed them. Our dorm was comfortable but it was really hot because the sun shined right through.

In the short amount of time I have lived in Cayuga, it has been friendly yet isolated but since I started living there we have had a lot of Covid-19 related experiences which has changed my overall outlook on dorm living.
