Walker Tower Dorm Reviews at University of Oklahoma

Was a perfect spot to live in my first year, was in the middle of places to get food, sit outside with friends while socially distancing. The walk to classes was enjoyable because it wasn't a long distance.

decent but not great. not much space. There are a lot students crammed into small rooms and four people have to share a small bathroom with barely any space. There are plenty of common areas but the walls are super thin.

Mold. My freshman year, the air quality in the dorms gave me a rash on my face. When I left, my skin would clear up. Others had similar problems with skin or with their breathing. It's also ridiculously expensive for freshman to live in the dorms. Unnecessary, and you have to jump through hoops to live off-campus.

Walker Tower at the University of Oklahoma is an older building but I believe that it has been maintained fairly well. My one wish is that the bathroom vanity area was larger and one problem with Walker Tower is that the humidity is very high in all the rooms. A dehumidifier is essential.

My dorm experience was a bit different, most girls on my floor were in sororities and that's great if you are in one too but if you are not then it can be a little different. The RA was really nice though.

Walker Tower was incredibly welcoming and well kept. The management of student opportunity and connectivity on the floor is very well-done. The dorms themselves are well worth the experience but are very old. Mold consistently spreads and the bathrooms are shared between 4 people, often mildewing.
