Dellinger & Nation Hall Dorm Reviews at Pitt State

Overall, Nation/Dellinger is an above standard college dorm with lovely staff, working ac/heating, and prompt maintenance fixes. The issue just stands from the specific resident culture of stealing door decorations and leaving trash around the halls, since there are no security cameras to keep people in-check. Expect the fire alarm to be pulled at ungodly hours of the night and morning a few times a year as well, especially during dead week, just because it's inevitable for someone to think it would be funny to have the entire dorm evacuate and stand outside in their pjs.

Dellinger and Nation Hall were not peak standard of living. The dorms often smelled foul and the bathrooms were often unclean. The maintenance gave an honest effort to fix these issues, but they could not keep up with the students' living habits. However, that only added to my college experience. The dorm culture is what makes Dellinger and Nation enjoyable.

I love living in Nation Hall, it is close to the dinning hall and right on campus! The rooms are a little small for two people, and I wish there were bathrooms in the rooms. Also it would be nice if packages were delivered to the building and not a campus building. There are also no security cameras in the hallways so it feels a little unsafe.

Nation hall has been overall a good college experience. Their is excessive noise every now and then, but for the most part it quite. The RA is chill and the staff is always willing to help and listen.

Nation Hall was so much fun! My favorite college memories were made in this dorm hall! It’s right next to the dining hall which is an even bigger bonus. It’s perfect walking distance to all buildings for classes as well! Highly recommend

I love living in the dorms. I have met some of my closest friends and some of my most cherished memories have stemmed from those very halls. The dorms made my college experience a real treat. I have made more connections in those halls than my whole life. It finally feels like I found a place that I truly belong to.

It has honesty been a great experience. At first I was concerned but people are very respectful and the staff and resident assistants do a great job of decorating and putting on events. If I could tell anyone who is thinking about dorm life one thing it is that it is like a home away from home.

As a freshman in college, it is all very new and fresh and its your first time really on your own. In this dorm you are always surrounded by people and you usually share a room with a roommate, you're constantly getting to see people. It is very helpful being able to see people because it helps with getting homesick. I enjoyed living here very much, the dust and humidity can be frustrating, but as long as you own a dehumidifier and keep up with the cleaning, everything stays pretty clean. Anytime I talk to freshman I ask what dorm they're in and when they say Nation, I know they're going to enjoy it. The location is perfect, almost everything on campus is within walking distance.
