Harrison Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Purdue

Harrison Residence Hall was a very interesting experience. Since there is much to do on the floors, the open areas are typically filled with a lot of people which provided a great opportunity to meet friends. Itβs also one of the areas where the bus stops so even though it could be a 15 minute walk to class, it might only be a 3 minute bus ride.

Overall while noise between the dorm room and the hallway is easily heard, noise between dorms is practically nonexistent. The room is clean, currently reside in a double room that was transformed into a triple room which makes the area tight on space, but we got it to work. Overall, pretty pleased with the dorm, just wish it was closer to my classes.

Overall, Harrison felt like a safe and inviting environment to live in. The bathrooms were pretty nice, and the friends I made on my floor are girls I still keep in touch with to this day (I am now a Junior).

I really enjoy being at Harrison. I spend a lot of time in my dorm due to the lack of common spaces on each floor. The basement is a very popular common space that is good for hanging out in a big group. The distance to campus is a little far, but no strenuously so.
