Tarkington Hall Dorm Reviews at Purdue

Tarkington Hall was a great place to live with its pros and cons. The pros being the size of the rooms and great location on campus near the acres, close to dining courts, and not too far from class. Some of the cons being the community bathroom was not always the cleanest and sometimes it could get really loud at night.

Tarkington hall is in a prime spot for classes, most of which are just a block or two away and more importantly it is literally right across the street from Ford Dining hall which makes getting food super easy.

Staying at Tarkington Hall was like being in a brotherhood. It didn’t matter what floor you were on or what wing of the building you were in, everyone was a friend. Of course you have the choice to be reserved, but if you want social interaction, the entire dorm is available. I made life long friends living in this dorm.

My experience at Tarkington has been nothing but good. I got to connect and network more with people. The RA was always there whenever we need helped with an assignment or had a general question. As for the bathrooms they are cleaned everyday at certain times, and in those certain times you cannot enter to use the bathroom while they are cleaning.
