The Wabash Building Residences Dorm Reviews at Roosevelt

Roosevelt University has on-campus student apartments, which are available at the Wabash building close to Downton Chicago area. This 15-story building has dormitories, classrooms, offices and amenities within the buildings. The modern suites of Wabash comprise two double rooms linked by a bathroom and four single bedrooms connected by a common area. There are beds, tables, desk, and dresses all of which are necessary to live comfortably within those rooms. Rooms come with big windows, complimentary WiFI, and independent regulator for air conditioning/heating. Laundry is accessible for everybody. There are also accessible rooms. There are also shared kitchens with appliances, sinks, and a table for eating and cooking together on each floor, which are not the cleanest but there is a kitchen which is not used very often on floor 14 accessible to everyone. If you're searching for a dorm with a kitchen it is better to live in the UC. It Is also great to know room mates and suitemates before to avoid conflict, just as it can happen at any other university. Indeed, Wabash shines for its many amenities and diversions located in the same building. The study lounges, gyms, and the game room for relaxation purposes. Music practice rooms, art studios as well as club meeting rooms are available for students. Courtyards and green roof offer areas for hanging out outside. Social life in the dorm is also maintained by periodically organized events. Students have the luxury of being a walk away from classrooms, campus resources, restaurants, and Chicago attractions in that it is directly on Michigan Avenue. Generally, Wabash hosts Roosevelt kids in comfortable and moderner facilities, which are also cheaper, inbuilt student community and nearby. Suite-style units offer greater independence when compared to conventional dorms. Wabash should be good for living fully among university’s environment.

My current experience at the Wabash resident building is higher than my expectations. The environment feels very safe, and the people are very welcoming. All the staff is very helpful in every situation. They guide you with what you need and make all the time you need to be able to communicate with you whether it's on zoom or in person. The dorms are absolutely beautiful and have a great view. I'm a very introverted person and I never thought I would have made so many friends so quickly already in my second week of school.

Looked nice and was very clean all the time like ur staying at a nice hotel. It had nice amounts of room in the building the bedrooms with the city view was nice especially when you got the rooms with the high floors.

It's a young building. Each suite has their own private bathroom and the rooms themselves were super pretty with an entire wall of windows. Each floor is co-ed and have their own study rooms if you need a small change of scenery to do your homework.

Big rooms with a city to look from your own window also have great views the cafeteria food can be better but have all the snacks and food you could one and have Starbucks downstairs in the lobby. Get place to live.

It has overall been good. The communication on what is open and when can be a little bit muddled sometimes, though this might be cleared up once the pandemic is over. You have to check emails quite a bit in order to stay updated.

We had issues with our dorm and some of the maintenance crew wasnt the nicest but everyone else was very nice and helpful. Overall really like these dorms, especially the location. Very nice rooms and i like it here.

It has been okay, not really too much to say because of Covid. The study rooms that are given to the student are cool, most of them are closed due to the virus but everything has been relaxing and cool.

Staying at the Wabash building was a great experience for me. The view from the rooms were amazing and I made great friends. The officials & security were very helpful too if issues arose. Campus security was always available to help and the cafeteria served good food
