Allen Hall Dorm Reviews at Rutgers

Living in Allen hall was unfortunately a poor experience. The communal bathrooms were small and often unclean. Many times, we had issues with getting hot water in the showers and would have to take cold showers in the winter months. My dorm room had many insects and spiders. When I requested my room to be sprayed with insect repellent, the staff was very lovely and sent someone right away.

Maybe it was just my year but people lack home training. Within two month starting Freshman year the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and people screamed at random hours of the night. Our hall is far from the dining hall and bus stop but if you plan to live on Busch Campus just know there’s barely anything there besides classrooms, the dining hall, and other dorms.
