Franklin Hall Dorm Reviews at St. Ambrose

I think Franklin is the best dorm for sophomores going into business at St. Ambrose because of the people and location. Also, the dorm itself is very spacious, clean, and doesn't feel like a prison cell so that is always a plus.

My experience at Franklin Hall, was overall very good. Dorm was clean and usually quiet. One of the nicest dorms I have stayed at SAU. Although this dorm is the farthest from some classes. But, the campus is small enough that your farthest walk is like 6 minutes total. I would definitely recommend this dorm to any sophomore going to St. Ambrose.

I had an RA that wasn't very hands-on with the issues with some people in the dorms, but the location of the dorms and the location of the amenities within it were great. It has a common area with a TV, as well as a laundry room in the hall.

Cinder block building, rooms are large but the building is old. Needs to be renovated. The dorm made up of four rooms and a shared bathroom. The building is a two story brick in the center of campus.

The dorms are really nice and very spacious in this sophomore dorm. They are Jack and Jill style with a bathroom in the middle so there are no communal bathrooms and cleaning staff cleans them weekly!

I LOVE Franklin Hall. It is social and a lot of my friends live very close by. The rooms are huge and include a bed, dresser, desk, and closet for both you and your roommate. Not to mention the high ceilings really open up the room and make it feel even bigger. The closets are huge and even have a shelf on the top for added storage space. Laundry is free so I don't have to worry about having quarters handy at all times. Also, Franklin is suite style living which means that we have a bathroom connected to our room and our suite mates. I love having my own bathroom because it is cleaner and also less of a hassle compared to communal bathrooms. Furthermore, we have a cleaning staff that comes in weekly to clean our bathroom. The bathroom also has it's own toilet room so that you can have maximum privacy and allow others to come in and use the sinks or the shower while you are in there. The only downside is that it is on the edge of campus so the walk to class is farther than other dorms; however, with he small campus size it really isn't that bad. I would recommend this dorm to anyone!

Franklin is a great dorm to stay in your sophomore year. It not only has plenty of space in both the rooms and bathrooms, but great staff along with it. Everyone works together to make sure the experience and way of living is a good one.
