Livingston Hall Dorm Reviews at Southeastern

It was nice. Had a roommate for a bit but she dropped out early after a massive fight w her fiance so I had the double dorm to myself. Lost my virginity in that squeaky ass dorm bed. Still with my love 2 years later. Great memories.

I had a fairly good experience at Livingston Hall! However, during my time at Livingston Hall, Hurricane Ida came ripping through Hammond and left my hall struggling. The whole first floor of my dorm was severely damaged with water (and was later remodeled) and my floor (the second floor) had severe mold problems. After mentioning my specific mold problem (mold on my walls, clothes, sheets, and even underwear) to my RA after moving back in, I was kind of brushed off like it was no big deal. Aside from this, I really loved the location of Livingston Hall (it's perfectly centered between the union and REC), the people that resided in the rooms around me and my roommate, and the cleanliness of Livingston Hall. Overall I'd rate it a 4/5 stars. I honestly loved the dorm experience, just had a little trouble with my RA and mold problems due to uncontrollable variables.

Livingston Hall offered me the best experiences for my first year in college. It was an amazing experience to be able to live in a dorm, but an even better experience because the dorm was clean, safe, and made me feel at home. I would not change my decision to live in Livingston Hall even if I were given the opportunity to.

My experience at Livingston Hall has been great. It is in a great location in regards to my classes and the window look into an open area outside. The dorm is quiet and always being cleaned. I live on the fourth floor and have easy access to the elevator and stairs.
