Honestly, I was kind of freaked out thinking and worrying that I was gonna live with seven other girls, but over the time of these months, I’ve been living with him. It’s been the best time of my life. They’ve been the sweetest and kindest and with open arms and except me for who I am.

I loved my time staying in an 8-man suite in Aventura Hall. From the outside, this dorm looked like a resort. It is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. The only negatives about this dorm was an occasional sugar ant problem that took a few weeks to be resolved. The housekeeping and maintenance were always very kind and efficient in their job, and the security officers always made me feel safe staying in Aventura. Overall, I had a great three years staying in Aventura Hall.

Aventura is the homiest dorm on campus. While the plumbing, constant ants, and chipped paint isn’t so fun, I’ve felt more comfortable in Aventura. I wish they would supply soap and hand sanitizer, especially during this virus, but it just a necessity I think they should already have in the dorms. Also, I can hear everything. It is the most distracting thing or annoying thing to hear someone go to the bathroom, talk about their wedding, or play music three rooms over. I really wish they’d try to make the rooms more sound proof. There isn’t a kitchen which is also sad. We are have to any kitchen supplies excluding hot tops which are not allowed.
