Raven Village Dorm Reviews at Sam Houston State University

So far so good. Clean .. dorm sizes are good and you have enough privacy. Has a large common area for guests. Has an elevator for convenience and everything is easy to locate. Dorm is near the food market and not too far from other activities.

Raven Village is one of the nicer dorms on campus since you have your own private room and kitchen/living area, but it is a ways from the middle of campus and close to the bad side of town. My first year there, there was a robbery at the apartments next to the dorm and an armed burglary in the parking lot of the dorm.

I moved from White Hall, and this dorm is WAY better. I have my own room, and I have my own space. Same with the bathroom. (I just share it with my roommate) I also like the staff here. I had a maintenance problem and they had it fixed within an hour.

Best dorm rooms I could have chosen for my first year of college. Could not have asked for a better dorm room. I had my own room and shared common areas with my roommate. It is apartment style dorm room.
