Campus Village 2 Dorm Reviews at SJSU

My experience in my dorm is great so far. I love how there's extra security in this building like needing to use your key card on the elevator to go to the upper floors or to even open your room door.

Getting access into the building itself is key card activated and you are immediately greeted by RA's at the front desk. The rooms themselves are very spacious and have AC units. The bathrooms were cleaned daily by the nice staff and the common room areas were kept neat. I would compare the ambiance of CV2 to a hotel.

I would like to say that I have been more than pleased with my experiences at cv2. I am a Freshman at Sjsu who has been here for around two weeks now. Whether you apply for a triple, or a double dorm I can guarantee that you will be given enough space to live comfortably at CV2. I really like the convenience factor as there is a laundry room, and a trash room on each floor. This leads to an ease of access for daily chores and clears up an added 3-5 minute travel time from your normal schedule. When it comes to the bathrooms, Cv2 also offers an exceptional amount of showers and bathrooms allowing for multiple people to get ready without the feeling of being rushed. Overall I strongly recommend this campus as it has nothing but positives from the time that I've been here.

Campus Village 2 was a nice place to live. Although the rooms are shared with one other person there is enough space so you do not feel crowded. During my stay there weren't any problems and I enjoyed my time here.

CV2 is almost living in an apartment with other people, you share a bathroom, shower, and kitchen. Living there has been fun my roommates were very nice and I'm glad I met them. I'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy it as well.

Best experiences so far. I guess I am loving independent without parents makes it better than having your own room but in your parents house. Best suitmates and the process of choosing them is on point, the quality of life and events we do there is just great.

Everything was pretty clean and orderly. the elevators usually worked and the AC an in house washing machines was a plus too. unfortunately it was really expensive and you still had to pay extra to use the washers, park overnight, or eat on campus.

Had a great time here for my freshman year and really enjoyed it's closeness to the dining hall. Common areas had study rooms, TVs, and white boards for any of those late-night study sessions. Dorm suites were had plenty of room and the showers were also great.

CV2 is a pretty good dorm building for those in their first year at SJSU. It is lively, a close community, and you can make a lot of friends pretty easily. Depending on the floor, however, it can get loud and a bit hectic at times but in a good way. Around finals, everyone usually calms down and focuses so that's nice.

College Village Building 2 was the perfect and typical freshman dorm experience. Not only did it exhibit every aspect of college life and college living, but the traditional dorm set up allowed me to interact with my peers, meet new people, and gave me the opportunity to have a memorable freshman college experience. From the 24 hour study rooms, to the late nights in the game rooms, and the resident advisor check ins, everything couldn't have been more perfect and set the standards for the following years to come of my college experience.

I have been living in this form for the last 4 months. My experience here has been quite pleasant. One thing I might ask for improvement is the poor soundproofing. I can clearly hear the noise from the room right next to me. Beside that, the lights of my room were in poor condition and I had to go out of my way to light up the entire room. Still, my room lacks the overall bright light that almost any room possesses.

This is my 1st semester at the dorms in general and so far everything is great except my roommate has really loud friends come over in the middle of the week making me miss my classes and work. Other than that you keep your space as clean as you want and you can come and go as you please. Also, it really gives you a sense of maturity and independence since there is a kitchen you can use to cook your meals.

My experience at CV2 as a dorm was overall a great one, especially because I lived on the 2nd floor. I would highly recommend pushing for a room on the 2nd floor if you dorm here because they have a door that only people from that floor can open. This floor also has the biggest common area which was a pretty cool feature for me. We also held xbox tournaments and its a great way to make new friends. CV2 is definitely the best dorms on campus. Used to live in Washburn so I can say it is a huge step up.
