Nemec Hall Dorm Reviews at Stetson

It was horrible. The people were horrible. I didn't feel safe because anyone could get into my dorm hall. My dorm room window didn't close fully. The dumpster was always super filled. When it rained, the road flooded.

This was my first college experience and there was some noises late at night. Students coming in or stopping by knocking or shouting outside. Otherwise I have enjoyed my experience. The RA was helpful.

Looks a bit like a prison but once you get comfy you realize it is pretty dope. The sinks inside the rooms are lifesavers and there are a ton of plugs for all of your electronic needs. 8/10 would recommend to a friend

I have a lot of fonds memory of my freshman year at Nemec, but I will say my thought on it are divisive. While the layout is easy and fast to reach your dorm, the location of the dorm itself isn't. It's incredibly far from many of the major lecture buildings and then some. It does house a lot of the freshman and because of that you run a high chance of meeting your friends, but the distance is still questionable. The dorms are clean, but compared to the rest they feel like cheap apartments. It doesn't appear much funding went into it honestly. I would say it's a good dorm if it's your first year but that's it.
