Nathan R. Miller Hall Dorm Reviews at Suffolk

I loved living in Miller. It was very convenient and it was close to all of my classes. I also enjoyed the suite style layout and how the residents has the opportunity to clean their own bathrooms and maintain them.

Nathan R Miller Hall has a wonderful location as first-year dorm, providing a >5 minute walk to most Suffolk buildings. However many of the elevators and various machines throughout the dorm would often not work and would not be fixed for nearly the entirety of the semester. The maintenance otherwise was quite quick and useful in the times I had to use it. Many of the common areas in Miller Hall are just a bunch of chairs. There's no reason to use them most of the time.

I enjoyed being in Miller hall, although it was during the pandemic so I did not have as great of an experience as other students have in the past and the future. The view from the top floor common space is unmatched however certain lower floors do not have good views. Beyond that the dorm is ideally located as it is the closest dorm to nearly all classes, has a dining hall in the building, and great common spaces. The dorm rooms also have private bathrooms which is great in my opinion.

As a freshman at Suffolk University going into my sophomore year, I couldn't be happier that I spent my first year in Nathan R. Miller Hall. The location is impeccable, right in the middle of everything. I have always felt safe with 24/7 Security Guards and our own Suffolk Police Department. I wish I could stay at this dorm for my 4 years.

My girlfriend lives in Miller Hall currently and she likes it. She wishes that there was more to do in the actual building, like the common areas. Other than that it's great! Overall Miller Hall is a good spot to be in as a freshman.

I had a great experience at Miller hall. The view from the 19th floor is amazing and overlooks the Charles, the Boston Common and a lot of the city. Great views from a lot of the rooms as well. I love that you have a private bathroom and only have to share with 3 other people.

I had an amazing time living at Miller Hall in the heart of Boston. I was surrounded by so many fun activities and always had new locations to explore. The security always made us feel safe and I never felt that my safety was threatened while living there and the dorms were always so clean.
