Legett Hall Dorm Reviews at Texas A&M

The area is lovely! The MSC and Sbisa Dining Hall are nearby, and there is a bus stop less than a minute away that almost every bus route stops at! The staff is so friendly and willing to host so many events in the basement to encourage a friendly and warm environment for all the residents. There is always free food too! Regarding cleanliness, t the toilets and sinks are always clean but the showers can be a hit or miss. I would suggest going right after they are cleaned by the janitor to ensure the best environment when showering! :)

It is a quiet hall and not many distractions. Great place to live on campus, and have great accessibility to the bus routes to get around campus as well as a reasonable distance for walking to class and getting on-campus meals.

Great location (I love being on Military walk), community bathrooms are generally clean and they get cleaned professionally every week which is nice. The different floors aren't connected on the inside (each floor has its own door on the outside and its own set of stairs on the inside) which is kind of weird but you get used to it and the kitchen is small but it has the necessities (stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer). And we have washers/dryers on every floor (which isn't the case for all dorms). It's all girls and in my experience everyone's really nice or just keeps to themselves.

I didn't have much interaction with staff and maintenance, which is probably a good thing. Cleaning staff was amazing, but the bathrooms and common areas were very old, so not much could be done. Bathrooms were stained and the ceiling was falling apart. The kitchen stank like something died in one of the cabinets, and I could never fix it, no matter how much I cleaned.
