Milton Daniel Hall Dorm Reviews at TCU

Great experience. You get to form a great community who highly skilled individuals, who are very curious. The vibes of thr hall are just great. Such a good atmosphere and the cleanliness levels are up to the mark.

As the dorm for the Honors College, it was a great place to meet kids who took school somewhat seriously. I made a ton of friends by just sitting in lounges, study rooms, and the lobby. It was a great little boost my freshman year to have a friend circle nearby, plus you'll likely be in an honors class with some neighbors. Compared to all the freshman dorms, I think it has the best location by far. It's less than a minute walk from the back door to the rec center, and it's very close to Chick-fil-a and the main on-campus dining facility.

Overall it's pretty nice, only issues are that sometimes people will be running around in the halls at 9-10 PM and the bathrooms could be cleaner. The size of the dorm rooms are pretty good, and most people here are very friendly

Living in Milton Daniel my freshman year was incredible. The students of the John V. Roach honors college helped create an environment that was both fun and focused on studying. My friends who lived in other freshman dorms were jealous of my experience in Milton.

Milton provides a great community for freshmen who are interested in more than just partying. The Milton community encourages extra-curricular and helps foster relationships with the TCU community. The only negative aspect of my time at Milton was the noise by the front desk. However, my previous room is located by the desk. The second floor tends to be loud by the lounge. Noise complaints are answered depending on the RA. But to be honest, most college dorms are loud, and at least Milton tries to implement noise curfews (10:00 pm to 8:00 am). The amenities include study rooms, piano area, kitchen, cleaning supplies, multiple hangout spaces, vending machines, laundry rooms, and activities by RAs. I would recommend Milton for individuals who want to meet friends with high drives for education and realistic goals.
