Eppse Hall Dorm Reviews at TSU

I live on the first floor of Eppse, personally I like my room, however we have many maintenance issues such as leaking pipes or broken door. The bathrooms are nasty and outdated. On the first floor we only have two stalls (not all floors are like that) and the showers are small. We often have bugs such as roaches or spiders around, and once there was a mouse. The heat does not work and it gets very cold at night in the winter/fall. Besides the maintenance and cleanliness issues, my room is a nice size, the closet is spacious, and it is nice. The rooms are a lot better than the other halls, if you can get around the bathroom situations it is a nice dorm to live in and it is located close to classes, food, and has parking.

So, I stayed at Eppse Hall my freshman year. It is fairly clean and the dorm director over this building is so kind and sweet. Maintenance is very useful they come in a timely manner. This building is for upperclassmen but often freshman's do stay here. Everyone in this build acts their age there's never nothing crazy going on other than the boys dorm being next to it the parking lot can be full. I feel like it's a good location to get to everything.

My experience at Eppse Hall has been a 5/10. I believe I’ve truly got to experience something’s that taken me out of my comfort zone completely. Not only did I learn to adapt to a different environment but I also felt like I learned how to make a way out of none. The dorm doesn’t provide many resources since it’s an older building but I definitely feel like living here built character within myself.

Epps hall had a great staff and got students very involved. The hall director of Eppse hall was wonderful and very helpful you could tell that she really cared for every girl that lived in that building. However, this dorm could use some renovation and maintenance.

I had a great experience living in this dorm.I have lived here previously my freshmen year for the May term and I currently live here now, my junior year. It had improved since my last stay. I currently have my own room due to Covid.
