Parliment Village Dorm Reviews at TWU

I had an overall positive experience at the dorms of TWU. The staff and matched roommates are friendly and outgoing. Some negatives were the smell of a nail tech somewhere in the building and the odors from the unclean AC units.

I stayed here for the fall of 2022 and spring/summer of 2023.I enjoyed my time in parliament, but it was quiet nosey and a pretty far walk for most of my classes. It about a half a mile to get to the art buliding.

Parliament village is a nice dorm since it was renovated about 2 years ago. It looks new and modern. The rooms are pretty small but that is to be expected. There are community bathrooms with showers at the end of every hall. They are sometimes messy (water all over the floor from students showering, or hair on the sinks and showers as well as paper towels and tissue everywhere) but the janitors do a good job of coming and cleaning pretty quickly. The staff is slightly unkind. The RAs that I have talked to have all been not nice to me or my friends that lived in the hall. The janitors that are three every day are very sweet and love to make conversation.

It peaceful, quiet, and the girls here are amazing and so nice. The staff really care about us and our needs as students and people. I really do feel safe here. It’s also a great place to study besides the library

Overall very quite but didn’t like we had to share bathrooms with everyone on our floor. The RA were very nice and interactive. The had a private gym which I loved just needed more equipment. Close to the dining hall but very far back from the rest of campus

Living here made me have an awful school year. The prices for a shared dorm with community bathrooms was the same cost of an apartment on campus. Unfortunately it wasn’t afford to anyone below a junior level. The bathrooms did not have enough showers and stalls for everyone to use. We did not have full closets, it was a small space and you added a curtain as a “door”. The room was so small. The dorm had awful parking, students off campus could use spots in front of YOUR dorm but you were not allowed to. You’d have to walk 5-15 mins to find parking spots across campus. Sometimes students would not find one and would have to park off of campus.

Parliament Village was very nice for brand new buildings and had many common areas. However I was not a big fan on the community style restrooms, and only having one kitchen on the main floor by the entrance to the building. The rooms were also quite small and crowded.

People are too nice and helpful. I'm happy to be in that school and to meet wonderful people in my dorm. I made some friends, and they are very nice. The dorms and floors are always clean and full of what's needed.

Living in parliment village is pretty nice. I personally have had a very good experience. I would say just to make sure you clean up after yourself in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend getting a roommate because the single room are pretty small and you can have a lot of fun.

My overall experience at Parliament Village has been pretty great. The staff and faculty are very polite and will help you with pretty much anything you need. The building is always cleaned and sanitized.
