John England Dorm Reviews at University of Alabama

Best Dorm I have ever stayed in, was new when I lived there and had the best experience. Everyone was nice and all amenities were the best. We have a ton of study spaces, places where people could gather, and a lot of privacy as well.

My experience has been exceptional. The dorm is safe, quiet and very much so conducive to learning. I have not had any issues at this dorm. The dinning hall is within walking distance and the parking deck is near.

I really enjoyed John England it was a great experience I loved how we had a full bathroom and I also enjoy sitting in the common area with my friends I also enjoyed the big screens they had in the common area so we could hook up our computers and watch movies and listen to music to be honest it’s one of the best dorms that the university has to offer

I have lived in John England for two years, and I think it's perfect for students who want to meet a roommate and make friends while still getting some privacy. Each room is traditional style, but they include a bathroom. You sleep right next to your roommate, but you don't have to share a bathroom with everyone on your floor. The staff at John England keeps it super clean, and they are always nice to students.

The dorm itself is very great. The bathrooms are nice, and the rooms are as well, although some rooms have more space than others. Also some rooms are designed differently than others, but overall it's a great dorm and I would willingly stay again.

only been in it for one semester so far, but overall real nice place to stay. And its right next to a dining hall. So if you are an incoming freshman its a very good dorm to consider and tour. very happy with it right now.

My experience at John England was overall great. The only complaints that I have were with the boys that would be in the common areas all hours of the day and night. They would constantly be making noise and dirty up the common area and area around it. This; however, was purely the residences' lack of respect rather than the residential hall itself.

It’s been great met lots of friends there but if I could give one word of advice it would be to know who you’re rooming with because if you don’t you’re time there will be living hell like it was for me until I changed rooms.

John England hall at the University of Alabama is the newest hall on campus for 2020. It is the only traditional style suite with a private bathroom. In addition, for the rooms being traditional style they are very modern and nice. These rooms/hall is cleaner than all other halls including suites.
